1. INTRODUCTION

This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the return, refund, and exchange of products purchased from SECUREKIL PEST MANAGEMENT (PVT) LTD (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website at securekil.com (“Website”). By purchasing products from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by this Policy.

We are committed to providing high-quality pest control equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction. This Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which returns and refunds may be requested.

2. RETURN WINDOW

Customers have seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return. The return request must be initiated within this period to be eligible for a refund or exchange.

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be in its original, unused condition
  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and documentation must be included
  • The product must not show signs of wear, damage, or misuse
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be provided
  • The return request must be made within the 7-day return window

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Liquid chemicals and chemical solutions
  • Products that have been used, installed, or operated
  • Items with missing parts, accessories, or original packaging
  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling
  • Special order or customized items
  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase

REFUND METHODS

We offer refunds through the following methods:

Full refund to the original payment method used for the purchase

  • Store credit for future purchases
  • Exchange for an identical replacement item (subject to availability)

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within fourteen (14) business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. The timing of the refund appearing in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. RETURN SHIPPING

SECUREKIL PEST MANAGEMENT covers the cost of return shipping for all eligible returns within Sri Lanka. Upon approval of your return request, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label or arrange for pickup from your location.

For international returns, please contact our customer service team for specific instructions and shipping arrangements.

Important: Please ensure the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. We are not responsible for items damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging.

7. REFUND PROCESSING TIME

Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to verify that it meets the return eligibility criteria. The inspection process typically takes 2-3 business days.

After the inspection is complete and the return is approved, refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) business days. You will receive an email notification once your refund has been initiated.

Please note that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider and may take an additional 5-10 business days.

8. WARRANTY INFORMATION

Warranty coverage varies by product:

  • Some products carry a 12-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship
  • Some products carry a 6-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship
  • Some products may not include a warranty

The specific warranty period for each product is indicated on the product page at the time of purchase. Warranty coverage begins from the date of delivery.

Warranty claims cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper maintenance, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.

Upon verification of your warranty claim, we will repair or replace the defective product at no additional cost. If repair or replacement is not possible, we will provide a refund at our discretion.

10. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Please retain all original packaging and documentation, as these may be required for the return process. We may request photographs of the damaged item and packaging to process your claim.

11. ORDER CANCELLATION

Orders may be cancelled before shipment for a full refund. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled, but you may initiate a return under the terms of this Policy.
